Last Wednesday, during the middle of the night, someone bought the 12,000,000th item online that was bonded by buySAFE. It’s amazing how many transactions a day are now being covered by the buySAFE bond guarantee. The last time I checked, we were averaging something between one bond issued every 4 to 5 seconds, every minute of the day.
Although
the surety industry in the United States has been around for over a century and its
multi-billion dollar a year business, I believe that buySAFE might just be the
largest issuer of surety bonds in the country, and therefore likely in the
world. A big congratulations to everyone
out there who has ever purchased (or will in the future buy) an item online guaranteed with a buySAFE bond. Shopper
