So who is bigger, ChannelAdvisor or Marketworks?

I was looking at Marketworks’ press release today as covered in Ina Steiner’s AuctionBytes and I was struck by one statistics they mentioned. They processed $15 million in GMS on the first Monday after Thanksgiving (link to press release). That’s huge! A big congrats to the team at Marketworks!

Given that ChannelAdvisor had previously issued a press release in December stating they had just processed a record $10 million in GMS on a single day, I was surprised Marketworks had seen just a great day. It looks like Marketworks may hold the single day record, but I believe CA holds the title for total customer GMS (CA says they now do $100 million a month and Marketworks says they did $200 million in Q4 which equates to about $67 million a month in Q4).

Regardless, both companies appear to have had a great Q4 and they both have great solutions for online merchants. Congrats to them both!

Jeff -- That's a little bit like comparing apples to oranges. CA actually processed over $500M in Sales in Q4 (http://www.channeladvisor.com/company/press_releases/2007/) which is 250% of MW's GMV rather then the 150% you imply.
